hand today, but also can excel with your next weekend’s excursion.
Second-guessing is never reassuring. Our product inspires confidence in it function; tested and proven with 17 years of heritage
behind them our packs offer unparallel comfort and durability while still remaining weight savvy and technology driven. After all,
customer service and warranty departments aren’t 13miles in from the trailhead.
Why Dana Design
We use this stuff ourselves. Would you design Habanero eyedrops? We wouldn't either. So for 17 years we've been using and building packs, as well
as listening and learning from our fellow enthusiasts as to what essential features are needed to give each of us the warm and fuzzies when out in the
cold and prickly elements. We all like to get out and have fun, so a pack that’s durable and versatile is a key starting point. And while we all live in different
places, one thing remains constant: Human Power. Which means that having a pack that lets you haul your toys (and summit treats) without adding a
bunch of its own weight is vital. We then make sure that these packs are comfortable for everybody out there, no matter what their shape, and then it’s
up to you to decide where you’re going to end up.
Quality is implicit. Sure it looks good on display, but have you seen this stuff up close? Whether it’s weight-savings, material integrity, or just plain old
safety, we’ve tested each design exhaustively to insure that we have precisely examined every feature so that they will each do their job in concert with
one another and seamlessly. After all, you don’t want to think about saying, “Whoops!” when you’re in the shadow of some unpronounceable peak in a
country that you can’t remember from your 5 th grade Geography class. Yes, we want YOU to be comfortable using our toys, but WE want to be comfortable
using our toys too.
At Dana we work hard, but we play hard too. Since our work helps us play and vice versa, we eagerly go through each generation of prototypes and
make the right tweaks. Every round of testing, good or bad, we figure out how that affects future designs and adjust from there. By the time our product
hits the store we’ve streamlined the features and materials to the point that you and we both know that this is a product that will outlast everything else
in your gear inventory, even those stinky-but-oh-so-comfortable boots that you just can’t bring yourself to get rid of.
