APPLICATION PROCEDURES & DEADLINES<br />
Apply as early as October 1 through the Ontario Universities’<br />
Application Centre at www.ouac.on.ca, using the 105<br />
Application Form. Regular admission (where spaces are<br />
available) will continue to be offered up to August 1 for the<br />
Fall term; December 1 for the Winter term, and April 1 for<br />
the Summer (Inter-session and Summer session).<br />
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR UNITED STATES CITIZENS<br />
Graduates of accredited high schools will normally<br />
qualify for admission if the cumulative high school grade<br />
point average is 3.0 or above. In addition, applicants are<br />
encouraged to submit SAT (min. 1100) or ACT (min. 24)<br />
scores to supplement their application.<br />
Applicants for part-time studies must apply using the<br />
UWindsor application form at uwindsor.ca/ptapp.<br />
TRANSFER CREDIT FOR ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP)<br />
CREDENTIALS:<br />
Applicants presenting Advanced Placement (AP) credentials<br />
have the option at the point of admission of receiving transfer<br />
credit for approved courses where they have achieved AP<br />
grades of ‘4’ or ‘5’, to a maximum of 10 courses (30.0 credit<br />
hours), or of taking the University of Windsor course.<br />

AUTOMATIC ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS<br />
No matter what program you choose, you will be<br />
automatically considered for a UWindsor open entrance<br />
scholarship, if you’re entering directly from full-time<br />
secondary school studies, based on your application for<br />
admission and your cumulative grade 9-12 average.

ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS<br />
Athletes coming directly from secondary school with an<br />
80% average or above may receive up to $4,500 in athletic<br />
scholarships in addition to their entrance scholarships.<br />

OUTSTANDING SCHOLARS PROGRAM<br />
Each year, approximately 100 high-achieving, first-year<br />
students are offered status as Outstanding Scholar<br />
Candidates. In first year, Candidates will receive $750 per<br />
semester in addition to their entrance awards. Candidates<br />
meet regularly with program advisors, and are mentored<br />
throughout first year. Outstanding Scholars are paid to do<br />
research in Years 2-4. Students in all honours majors are<br />
eligible for the Outstanding Scholars Program. For further<br />

U.S. FEDERAL STUDENT AID<br />
UWindsor participates in the William D. Ford Federal<br />
Direct Loan (Direct Loan) Program. U.S. citizens and<br />
residents attending UWindsor may qualify. A Title IV<br />
Federal Student Aid eligible program must lead to<br />
an associate, bachelor, professional, or graduate<br />
degree and be at least two academic years in length.<br />
Note: Some programs offered by the university are<br />
not eligible for federal aid. For a complete listing of<br />
