Company profile
Harwal Container Manufacturing, a member of the Harwal Group,
has been providing complete PET packaging solution for the bottling
industry. Since its inception in 2006, HCM has been manufacturing
PET (polyethylene terephthalate) preforms and bottles and is today a
leading manufacturer in the Middle East.
The company has commissioned its new plant in Abu Dhabi with
top of the range European injection moulding machines for forming
PET preforms of different sizes, to meet the increasing needs of the
industry, the company also manufactures custom designed bottles
according to the specific requirements of customers.

Preforms for Hot Filling
Beverages are hot-filled to ensure aseptic long shelf-life. With expertise and experience in hot fill PET
preforms and bottles, at HCM we focus on preforms for beverages which are filled up to a temperature
of 80°C. HCM preforms are compatible with most modern hot-filling and blowing machines and offer
customers with state-of-the-art preforms for their hot fill applications.

Preforms for Warm Filling
Warm filling is a process meant for products which have longer life span than hot filled products. At HCM,
we provide preforms for warm-filling (filled at a temperature of around 62°C). HCM preforms provide the
bottles clarity and purity ensuring the products shelf life all through the long lifespan of the beverage.

Preforms for Mineral Water
HCM manufactures a wide range of PET preforms in different sizes especially for the mineral water
industry. Water being a taste sensitive product, requires packaging which can pass the organolyptic test
and possess excellent barrier properties, HCM preforms provides just that. We have preforms ranging in

Preforms for Carbonated Soft Drinks
The PET preforms used for juices and carbonated soft drinks require specific properties. HCM preforms
are extremely strong, making the blown bottle capable of handling the internal pressure of CO 2
without
distortion or expansion. This is a primary requirement in preforms for CSD. HCM preforms provide the
bottles extreme clarity making it’s content appealing for the consumer.

PET Bottles
In addition to our standard range of preforms, HCM also supplies bottles manufactured to customer
specifications. Manufactured with most modern blowing machines, HCM manufactures bottles with sizes
ranging from 220ml to 2 liters, which are available in different neck sizes and finishes to suit customer
requirments.
An attractive elegant 1.80 Liter PET bottle for Edible Oil offers an efficient means of visual identification
that establishes a trademark and allows the product to stand out from the vast range of competitors’
products on the shelves.
