Editor’s Letter<br />
This issue is a special issue for FADDY Magazine.<br />
I had the pleasure to shoot an editorial with the international model Erika Albonetti and while<br />
planning the shooting I came out with the idea to make a special collaboration and create our<br />
first FADDY Editorial.<br />
It is an extended editorial in which I collaborated with the Film Photographer Luca Bolognese.<br />
We mixed a classic fashion editorial with an artistic touch given by the black and white film<br />
photographs . We shot at the Centro Unipol Bologna (CUBO), a modern location that gave as<br />
the mood we were looking for. Styling has been provided by Alberto Messina Fashion Designer<br />
that was able to provide the Model with the outfits that complement perfectly with the location.<br />
Thanks also to fantastic makeup by Federica Di Pasquale and precious assistance of Giulio<br />
Silvestri.<br />
The result has been an amazing editorial that I am proud to present on this third issue volume 1<br />
Like our second issue also this third issue has been divided in four volumes in order to keep the<br />
price of the single volume not to increase too much and give the possibility to our contributors<br />
to buy a printed copy if they like. Digital copy will remain free for everybody.<br />
I personally thanks all our contributors that also this month provided us with amazing editorials.<br />
We hope this magazine will become one of the reference point from the Artists out there and<br />
we encourage everybody to give it a try. We will make our best to release a great quality product<br />
and improving always more.<br />

MARCO SQUASSINA<br />
I was born in 1974 in Brescia. In 1997 I got the degree in mathematics by the Catholic University. In 2002 I earned the Ph.D<br />
from the University of Milano.<br />
After staying in Verona for ten years as an associate professor in mathematical analysis, since 2016 I’m full professor at<br />
the Catholic University in Brescia.<br />
I’ve always had a great passion for photography, but it remained unexpressed until a few years ago, when I decided to<br />
get a good set of photographic gears. After a period of experimentation I found my absolute love in shooting close-up<br />
portraits as well as environmental portraits.<br />
I mainly shoot female models by carefully planning the choice of the location, the time, the lights (most of the time<br />
I shoot in golden or blue hours), the mood and focusing myself to revealing the femininity and the sensuality of the<br />
models in contrast to showing up their beauty in connection to wearing fancy outfits. I like the Russian portraiture style,<br />
especially the way they wisely color grade their works. They are currently my main landmark in photography.<br />
