Research Council<br />
The Research Council maintained a<br />
key oversight role in the activities of<br />
the Research Support Services. The<br />
broad role of the Forum was to develop<br />
and guide research strategy and assist<br />
Monash Health to achieve its goal to<br />
be a health service of international<br />
standing in the improvement of<br />
healthcare. Membership of the<br />
Research Council reflected the close<br />
relationships between Monash Health,<br />
Monash and Deakin Universities,<br />
Hudson Research Institute and the<br />
Monash Institute of Medical Research.<br />
The Monash Health Research Council<br />
held five meetings during 2016 and five<br />
meetings during 2017.<br />
