The
Amnesty of Grace
Something you never heard about in church
Is this you? In an endless cycle of earthy, fleshy repenting
and confessing? Paying tithes? Keeping days? Touching
not? Handling not and tasting not? If so then here is some
good news.
Christ nullified the Old Covenant Law. Moses Law! Ten
Commandments! It’s gone! All acted down? Faded away
under the amnesty of grace the Passover of Christ.
Be reconciled to YAH (god) for He is reconciled to you.
Believe the Gospel, Christ is the resurrection and the life…
How many years have you been in church and felt like this? Never good enough. Always
confessing and repenting and finding that there is still more to repent of? All those other Chrstians
seem so much more ‘holier’ and ‘happier’ than you are. In the night when your alone with your
thoughts and that old nature comes to accuse you… Ha Ha! You did this! So it’s off you go to
repent some more wondering if you will ever make it.
When you finaly emerge after confessing and repenting you feel good … For a while. Then!
That little ‘sin’ you don’t seem to be able to shake off comes back to haunt you. Maybe your
not loving enough, caring enough, indifferent perhaps, not praying enough, no comapssion
or maybe it’s worse; you feel like an imposter in church. You don’t seem to belong here
and those “secret sins” keep dogging your butt...
Sins you can’t mention in public. Secret sins. Littel foxes. Those things your pastor has been
preaching about latley. Purging your secret sins. Suggesting get rid of that which holds you back
from a right and deeper relationship with god.
Oh! wretched person am I who then shall deliver from the body of this death?
Have you ever stopped to consider, that you are the one
that is correct? Your feeling something they don’t? All the
others might be wrong? Not all who say lord lord or Jesus
Jesus will enter the Kingdom of God.
So what’s your problem? Why so tentative? The Law! The
10 Commandments. You are in a church where it is believed
that righteousness is by the LAW. Having been taught the law
is a curse before your salvation and then written in your heart
after your saved so you can keep it in order to finish the job of
your salvation.
TRUE? Well no. This is the GREAT lie in church and few, if
any, ever escape this fundamental flaw. Law is natural to the
Sons of Men, the flesh, those that perish but grace without any
law or a righteousness apart from the Law is repugnant to the
those who perish…
So now here’s your issue. You attempting to live under the Old Covenant Law of
Moses. Under a broken covenant that was never given to you, a gentile, in the first
place. And now your dragging law sin and death into grace. Shall you sin that
grace might abound? God forbid … Your trying to live under a dead obsolete
Law that is now nullified. If the Law works wrath then your trying to live under
wrath. So how’s that working out for you? Touching and tasting not?
Under the Law of Moses,
a broken covenant, no
one is ever pulling this
sword out of this stone.
Many have tried but
NONE have succeeded.
Millions have tried and
millions, just like you
have failed. Not even
Jesus could pull this
sword out of this stone.
The Sword of the Spirit
of life in Christ.
Only in the Spirit of resurrection and new life
in Christ can this sword ever be removed. The
flesh profits nothing. He that has life? Has the
sword of the Spirit. He that has not life? Has
not the sword and perishes.
So if Jesus doesn’t keep the law what on earth
does He do with it?
Simple enough … Christ’s death passes over the old Torah or Law of Moses
thus acting it down, katargeO, in order to nullify it. His resurrection is your justification.
The Law is nullified through the amnesty of Christ and “sin” has no mastery over you … Christ
our Passover sacrificed for us means that sin is no longer charged or taken into account
viz: YAH (god) is not ticked off at you any more and you are free to sin no more. Instead He is
reconciled to you. This is our message and we are His ambassadors of reconciliation.
It is a fact that after we have believed and delivered to life in the Spirit we all still sin, however;
these sins are not counted. Why so? No Law to count them… Blessed is the man. If your are in
Christ you are that man or that women; if not your sins will still NOT destroy you but your unbelief
will, he that believes not is condemned already...
So what is the biblical ‘proof’ that Christ’s death is an amnesty?
1. Behold the lamb! … The Greek noun for lamb is amnon (amnon) and forms of a similar stem to
the noun amnesty (amnestia). While the noun amnestia does not appear in NT Greek however, the
idea of an amnesty appears constantly through out Hebraic Soteriology (salvation teaching).
In order for YAH to declare an amnesty He must first act down, nullify or amnesty His law. Blessed
is the man to whom YAH will not impute ‘sin’ Rom 4:8. Sin is not imputed where no law
exists Rom 5:13. Where no law is neither is there any transgression Rom 4:15 all these are
statements declaring a Divine amnestia.
King David is perhaps the best case in Biblical Law demonstrating Divine amnesty. Guilty of murder
and adultery by the Law, David was to be executed according to the Law. The Prophet Nathan says
in this regard, “you will not die.” This reprieve of amnesty is heard across 1000 years until Paul
declares more fully the amnesty, Blessed is the man, in the post resurrection economy of the
Gospel of YAH (god) Rom 1:1. When John the Dipper declares, Behold the Lamb! The practical
sense is, Behold the Amnesty of God i.e. Christ our Passover.
If you are a new man in Christ. Having died as
the old man to the Law in Christ; you are now
raised a new man in the Spirit of your mind. You
have been raised over the old law to new life.
Law, Sin and Death (LSD) has no more mastery
over you.
You might feel that it does! Don’t be brought
back into captivity of your flesh, walk to the
expectation of the resurrection of your body or
the appearance of Christ and sin no more...
Hard to believe? In the flesh this is
impossible, but with YAH all things are possible.
Lord I believe help my unbelief!
Our Sin Amnesty
Christ our Passover sacrificed for us ... 1 Cor 5:7
… and you never heard a word about this amnesty in Church? Makes
you wonder what Gospel you’ve been listening to all these years ... Or
worse still, what one you have been preaching ...
No matter who they are! No matter who they think they might be! Rock Stars, Presidents and the
poor the bone show lies ahead for all. In Adam all have died. Bones in a box. The living dead and
the dead. The effectual rationing out of sin’s curse is death; yet the grace effect of YAH is life eternal
in Jesus Christ to all who believe on Him for life. If your in Christ you no longer look like look this in
YAH’s eyes. Even though you are dead you now live and your life is hid with Christ in YAH (god).
