Laughing Waters Inc. President and founder
Tim Krzeminski is on a very short list of artists
working in the water garden industry who
combine elements of stone, plant material and
water to generate living scenes of enduring
beauty and tranquility. Always working with
great sensitivity to every client’s individual
needs, he is both an accomplished designer
and superior construction job-site manager.
Tim and his design and build firm have spent
over a decade mastering the art of creating
water features that are indistinguishable from
nature. His work is based primarily on a lifetime
spent observing a vast array of environments.
From the lush landscapes of Hawaii to the
rugged forms of the American West, Tim has
carefully assimilated the complexity of nature
into compositions of remarkable subtlety and
authenticity.
Based in Chicago, a region rich with landscape
and architectural traditions, Tim is poised in
taking his extensive skills to select projects
throughout the United State and beyond. His

Tim serves as a board member for the Midwest
Hardscape Committee and was recently
