TRANS OVA IS LOOKING FOR A
THIRD SHIFT LAB
TECHNICIAN
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all 3rd Shift semen laboratory activities, including:
• Operates semen sexing machines.
• Performs semen freezing after semen is sorted.
• Assist in the handling and pulling of semen needed for all IVF
fertilizations
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• 2 or 4 year Animal Science, Biology, Chemistry or other life sciences
degree preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a freezing environment (40 °F) for short periods of
time (up to 30 minutes).
• Indoor lab environment.
OTHER SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Prior semen processing/handling and lab experience preferred but
not required.

TRANS OVA IS LOOKING FOR A FULL-TIME
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•General repair and equipment servicing at Trans
Ova sites.
•General maintenance and repairs on building and
facilities around Trans Ova sites.
•Ensures the image of the facilities meet TOG
requirements.
•Executes new construction plans.
•Assists in unloading various feed products around
the farm.
•Operates light and heavy equipment including but
not limited to: skid loaders, pay loaders, tractors,
bale shredders, manure spreaders, box scrapers.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
•Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
/WORKING CONDITIONS:
•Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Must be able to
operate farm equipment. Working conditions are
primarily an outdoor environment.

TRANS OVA IS LOOKING FOR A PART-TIME
CALVING HERDSMAN
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Monitor pregnant cows.
•Pick up newborn calves shortly after birth
and process them according to protocols.
•Provide basic obstetrical assistance to
recipient cows when indicated.
•Tag, administer colostrum, and other
neonatal treatments to newborn calves.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
•Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Physical Requirements/Working
CONDITIONS:
•Primarily an outdoor environment.
•Ability to be on feet walking, or standing for
long periods of time.
•Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
