Performs all 3rd Shift semen laboratory activities, including:<br />

• Operates semen sexing machines.<br />

• Performs semen freezing after semen is sorted.<br />

• Assist in the handling and pulling of semen needed for all IVF<br />

fertilizations<br />

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:<br />

• 2 or 4 year Animal Science, Biology, Chemistry or other life sciences<br />

degree preferred but not required.<br />

WORKING CONDITIONS:<br />

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.<br />

Northwestern College’s maintenance department has a full-time opening for a<br />

housekeeper. This 12-month position will require 40 hours per week and will include<br />

working seasonal evening or weekend events. This position will consist of assisting with<br />

housekeeping duties in the new science center. Alternatively open to considering a parttime<br />

schedule which requires 25 hours per week during the academic year and 40 hours<br />

per week during the summer.<br />

Prior custodial and supervisory experience is preferred. Candidates must have the ability<br />

to perform physically demanding work and be able to regularly lift 10 to 30 pounds and<br />

occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. Good communication skills are also essential as the<br />

person in this position regularly greets the public and communicates with parents and<br />

students and will supervise several student employees.<br />

MANAGER<br />

Northwestern College has an opening for a full-time student accounts manager beginning<br />

February 20, 2019. This position will report to the comptroller and is responsible for billing<br />

and collecting student accounts, answering questions on billing statements, managing daily<br />

cash drawer and preparing bank deposits, reconciling online ach and credit card payments,<br />

recording cash receipts, and supervising student workers.<br />

Meet Mindy Liechti:<br />

Mindy began working at VNU in May of 1985.<br />

She had met several individuals from Village<br />

Northwest through a college course and was<br />

hooked! She had also checked into other<br />

agencies in Iowa and other states and really<br />

liked what VNU was doing.<br />

When asked what has kept her here, Mindy<br />
