The song written by Nazrul Islam
Bulbul and sung by Sabina Yasmin is
forever tied to the bloody birth of the
passed away on Tuesday, had used his
passion both as a liberation fighter
and composer of the songs dedicated
ARIeS
(March 21 - April 20) : Interacting
with others may not be as
smooth a process as you might
like, especially if you have key
things to discuss. Lively Mercury's angle to
Uranus can be volatile, so care may be needed
with more delicate strands.
TAURUS
(April 21 - May 21) : An erratic
blend of energies can leave you
feeling restless, making it hard to
relax. But having friends on hand
could be helpful, as good company can be
therapeutic and just what you need.
GeMINI
(May 22 - June 21): While you
may present a businesslike
front, other influences indicate
your mind can be elsewhere, and
you could have a yearning to lose yourself in a
movie or good book.
CANCeR
(June 22 - July 23): Should you
find yourself involved in a
relationship drama, the cosmic
backdrop suggests doing what
you can to allow things to settle. The ability
to stand back may give a better perspective
on the issue involved.
leo
(July 24 - Aug. 23): Restless
thoughts can be a result of
Mercury's edgy angle to Uranus,
which could mean that you find
it hard to settle to your usual routine. Factor in
unexpected events, and it may be easier to
respond to life as it happens, as planning may
not be an option.
VIRGo
(Aug. 24 - Sept. 23): Are you in
the process of exploring a
golden opportunity? If so, then
the way you go about it may
need some finesse. If you appear in a hurry,
then you could give the wrong impression.
Besides, it could lead to you forgetting
certain important details.
to the motherland.
When the duo began working
together in the 1980s, Sabina was
already a star. Bulbul was still trying
to create his ground, and gathered
recognition after directing music for
film Megh Bizli Badal.
Bubul had been trying to get Sabina
to sing one of his songs, the singer
recalled. "I thought he's only a kid."
But something changed her mind
and Sabina called 'the kid' to her. "Let
me hear some of your songs, I told
him. And soon my jaw dropped. The
tunes were cutting through my heart."
Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul at a Glance
His works at a glance
"I still remember, the astounding
melodies. Those were of a different
kind. I had not heard songs like that in
our country. I was blown away."
Sabina later sang five songs written
or composed by Bulbul, and all are
considered timeless classics, like
'Majhi Nao Chhaira De', 'O Amar Aat
Koti Phul Dekh Go Mali', 'Rail Line Er
Dhare' and 'Akdin Ghum Bhenge
Dekhi Tumi Nai'.
Sabina carried Bulbul's tunes to her
countless fans across the country and
lifted her prestigious National Award
for a singing a song he composed.
lIBRA
(Sept. 24 - Oct. 23) : You may find
comfort in talking with others who
understand a predicament you
may be going through. A coffee
and a chat could restore your spirits in no time.
You might also be hoping for a peaceful day, yet
a domestic issue might need attention too.
SCoRpIo
(Oct. 24 - Nov. 22) : A get-together could
be snarled up by complications you
hadn't anticipated, so it might be better
to put this off for another day. Doing so
could benefit you, as if there are things to discuss there is
less likelihood of any misunderstandings.
SAGITTARIUS
(Nov. 23 - Dec. 21): What might
be an exciting plan could be
subject to delays. You might also
find that it costs more than
anticipated. With an edgy blend of energies, it
might be better arranged for another time.
CApRICoRN
(Dec. 22 - Jan. 20): There are times
when it may seem lonely pursuing a
goal or dream, especially if you've had
to cut back on other activities to
accomplish it. You may feel this way over the next day
or so, as you contemplate a scenario in which you might
have lost out on family time and other fun options.
AQUARIUS
(Jan. 21 - Feb. 19): You could feel a
tad on edge if things don't happen
as you expect them to. But with
Mercury angled towards Uranus,
there's a chance a key event may be cancelled. If
so, the cosmic backdrop suggests a pause while
you get your bearings. The Sun in your sign and
other upbeat trends though.
pISCeS
(Feb. 20 - Mar. 20): The seed of
an idea may take root over
coming days, and could blossom
into a fruitful collaboration or
encourage a meaningful friendship. Current
energies could leave you impatient for results
though, which might mean you're tempted to
rush this.
Fox News Apologizes for Airing
Ruth Bader Ginsburg Has Died
Fox News has apologized for
airing a graphic that incorrectly
implied Ruth Bader Ginsburg
has died. The 85-year-old
Supreme Court Justice, who is
very much alive, is at home
recovering from lung surgery.
She has cameo appearance in
The Lego Movie 2. On her
biography a documentary film
RBG was made in 2018.
The graphic ran during the
morning show "Fox & Friends,"
displaying a photo of Ginsburg
with the dates 1933-2019.
"This was a technical error
that emanated from the
graphics team," a Fox News
spokesperson confirmed to
Variety.
As Uri box office collection breaches Rs
100 crore mark, here are the records it
broke to become Vicky Kaushal's biggest
solo earner till date.
Vicky Kaushal's Uri is a certified box
office hit as it is well into its third week and
managing to fend off competition posed
by new releases such as Why Cheat India
and Fraud Saiyaan. The film, based on
2016 surgical strikes, has earned Rs 115.87
crore till Monday and is going strong in
the international market as well.
According to trade aggregator Box Office
India, Uri had a "miracle second Monday"
as it earned Rs 7.7 crore. The website said
this means there has been only a 20% dip
from Uri's first Friday till now. This has
brought Uri's domestic box office collection
to an estimated Rs 115.87 crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote,
"#UriTheSurgicalStrike continues its
dream run... Maintains a terrific hold on
In the tradition of Amblin classics where fantastical events occur in the
most unexpected places, Jack Black and two-time Academy Award (R)
winner Cate Blanchett star in THE HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN ITS
WALLS, from Amblin Entertainment. The magical adventure tells the
spine-tingling tale of 10-year-old Lewis (Owen Vaccaro) who goes to live
with his uncle in a creaky old house with a mysterious tick-tocking
heart. But his new town's sleepy façade jolts to life with a secret world
of warlocks and witches when Lewis accidentally awakens the dead.
-Rotten Tomatoes
Co-hosts Steve Doocy and
Ainsley Earhardt both
addressed the error and
apologized later in the
segment.
"A technical error in the
control room triggered a
graphic of Ruth Bader
Ginsburg with a date on it,"
Doocy said. "We don't want to
make it seem anything other
than that was a mistake. That
was an accident."
Earhardt added, "We
apologize, big mistake."
Ginsburg had surgery in
December to remove two
malignant growths in her
lungs. The growths were found
when she was being treated for
a fall that caused her to
fracture three ribs in
November.
Earlier this month, Ginsburg
missed oral arguments on the
court for the first time in her
over 25 years on the bench.
While on the press tour for
"On the Basis of Sex," a film
about the Supreme Court
Justice's early days as a young
lawyer, Ginsburg emphasized
she has no plans to step down.
"I will do this job as long as I
can do it full steam," she said.
Uri box office : records Vicky
kaushal's film breaks
collection was higher than the first
weekend. The film had collected Rs 35.92
crore in its first weekend and the second
weekend is Rs 37.75 crore. This is
unprecedented and has never happened
for a film that opened with Rs 5 crore
collection. This is something biggest hits
ever such as Baahubali and Dangal
couldn't achieve.
Uri breaks Stree, Raazi, Badhaai Ho
records
Vicky Kaushal's first solo Rs 100 crore
film
Uri is the first film starring Vicky
kaushal as a solo lead that has entered Rs
100 crore club. Accepting this but
crediting Uri as a team effort, Vicky
recently told Mid-Day, "A hero cannot
make a film hit. Movies are made with the
team effort. I credit Aditya [Dhar,
director] and Ronnie Screwvala
[producer] for their conviction. A film can
turn an actor into a star, but a star can't
guarantee a great film on his own."
Abdulah Husseini, 36, was
found in London after a police
hunt when he failed to appear in
court in Blackpool over
allegations of theft and fraud.
The first police bid to trace him
went viral over his apparent
resemblance to character Ross
Geller.
Mr Husseini was arrested in
Wimbledon, south-west
London, and was remanded in
custody. He will appear at
Wimbledon Magistrates' Court
Wednesday.
Mr Husseini, of Spencer
coat, a phone and a wallet from
Mr Basrai's on Talbot Road in
the Lancashire seaside resort on
20 September. Image copyright
fuelled by David Schwimmer's
own take (shown on the left)
Lancashire Police released a
CCTV image allegedly showing
Mr Husseini carrying a case of
beer at a shop in Blackpool and
this led to social media users
pointing out his likeness to the
US sitcom character.
Mr Husseini failed to appear
at Blackpool Magistrates' Court
on 18 December to face
accusations of theft and four
charges of fraud. A new warrant
for his arrest was then issued by
the magistrate, leading to his
arrest in Wimbledon.
Mr Husseini was also being
sought by the Metropolitan
Police after failing to appear at
court on a charge of handling
stolen goods.
Vicky Kaushal's second highest grosser
With Rs 115 crore in its kitty, Uri will
soon cross the lifetime business of Raazi
(Rs 123.24 crore) to become Vicky's
second highest grosser of all-time.
However, his highest grosser remains
Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Sanju.
Uri has out-earned Hrithik Roshanstarrer
Kaabil (Rs 103.40 crore) to
become Yami Gautam's biggest hit till
date. "Very happy with the kind of
response that the film has earned and is
continuing to have a great run at the box
office. I'm very grateful to the team behind
the film, everyone has truly worked very
hard. Its amazing to have producers like
Ronnie who believe in their content and
invest in people like us. I'm personally
excited to have such a tremendous
beginning to 2019 and I am certain to
keep the audiences entertained further
too," the actor said in a statement.
