beats the bullies and steps
out of the darkness, into the
spotlight.

Raising funds for Singing for
the Brain, Otley Courthouse
Choir and Otley Singers are
joining forces for an evening of
song. Singing is such a joyful
experience which lifts the
spirits and all in a great cause.
Otley Courthouse Choir is a
community choir group singing
songs from folk traditions
from across the world. Otley
Singers is also a community
choir singing for pleasure and
occasional performance with
a wide repertoire of tunes,
including pop!
They will be joined by the
Sheeptown Songsters from
Skipton. There might even be
some mystery guests joining
us (though they don’t know
it yet)! Come along and be
entertained.

In the last few months we’ve been working
with ‘Humans of Leeds’ to put together a
photographic exhibition of the people at Otley
Courthouse. This includes volunteers, staff,
regular users & audience members – put simply
– everyone that makes the Courthouse special.
Come and see the exhibition, enjoy some live
music & nibbles and celebrate our 15th birthday
with us!

A chance to find out more about the history
of the Courthouse before it became an arts
centre. Come and hear about the history of the
building, the stories of the courtyard plaques
and other interesting anecdotes about this
fascinating part of Otley’s past. Admission is
free, but places are limited so tickets should be
booked in advance.
