At the Ridge<br />
Hunting Ridge kicked off <strong>2019</strong> with the Youth of <strong>First</strong> <strong>Baptist</strong> <strong>Church</strong>. It was a great weekend,<br />
full of fun, hot chocolate and snow. Our <strong>2019</strong> calendar is filling quickly with our regular clients<br />
and many new ones referred to us by our current ones. Jeff and I are excited to start our 7th year<br />
of caring for HRR and we are ready for what God has planned for this year!<br />
2018 was a year full of changes and blessings. I assumed the Director’s role officially in March.<br />
We had a very busy calendar, replaced all 160 chairs for the lodge and chapel and so much more.<br />
In 2018, God really reminded of who He is. I wasn’t sure how our first year without the Jeremiah<br />
Project would turn out financially. For many years, they had been our guests for the bulk of the<br />
summer. I am so happy to report that HRR had a really good year financially. God was faithful<br />
in bringing us more retreats and more people for each retreat than the contracted amounts. Our<br />
positive financial outcome is a HUGE testament to God and his faithfulness to HRR and His<br />
plans to prosper it. Thank you for your continued support of your ministry. <strong>2019</strong> is going to be<br />
another great year of making a difference in God’s Kingdom!<br />
Hunting Ridge is booking more and more winter retreats and a snow blower would aid in the<br />
removal of snow for our groups. We have retreats for nearly every weekend until mid-April. If<br />
anyone has a snow blower that they would be willing to donate, please contact me at the HRR<br />
office or at director@huntingridgeretreat.com.<br />
