Joy Bungalow was the first resort built on Koh<br />
Jum back in 1987, long a backpacker favorite<br />
and the best-known resort on the Island.<br />
Joy Bungalow is of <strong>Thailand</strong>’s true travelers’<br />
meeting points. All kinds of people, from all<br />
corners of the globe have made Koh Jum, and<br />
in particular Joy Bungalow, their escape from<br />
the rest of the world. This small, unspoilt<br />
tropical hide-away has a unique ambience<br />
which lends itself to quiet contemplation and<br />
genuine feeling of inner peace. The limited use<br />
of electricity and current use of oil lamps<br />
enhance this feeling.
