mid-term breakfast, sponsored by<br />

Carey Olsen, starting at 7.45am.<br />

This year’s mid-term discussion will<br />

pick up on the island’s machinery<br />

of government following last<br />

October’s Guernsey referendum<br />

on the method of electing people’s<br />

deputies which came out in favour of<br />

island-wide voting. An invited panel<br />

will discuss what further changes<br />

may now be appropriate following<br />

the referendum and whether the<br />

time is right for another review.<br />

presents a photographic exhibition<br />

by Aaron Yeandle: Chimera is an<br />

anthropological, social and historical<br />

photographic project which delves<br />

into the unseen world of Guernsey’s<br />

community of make-believe history<br />

and fantasy. Chimera observes how<br />

the past, present and the future<br />

can be brought to life, through<br />

imagination and fabrication.<br />
