eLAB
DEMO-BOOKLET
INTRODUCTION
THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF TEACHING
opens the possibility of the spatially and temporally delimited and thus also
more independent learning. In addition to the increasing self-control of learning,
however, is also the supervision by experts and the embedding of learning material
in a didactically appropriate learning arrangement essential. Accessibility is as
important as the activation of learners by the Learning videos. Therefore, these
considerations shape the design of the videos produced in the eLab.
THE ELAB
of the Teaching & Learning Center of the University of Applied Sciences
Technikum Wien offers service with the conception and implementation of the
learning videos produced there.
THE
RESULT
VERSATILE & INDIVIDUAL OUTPUT
Depending on the didactic requirements of the contents, different types of
videos are created. A few examples:
PRESENTATIONS
SCREENCASTS
ANIMATIONS
INTERVIEWS

stop etc. are possible
Pen Input
Drawing with a digital pen directly
on the screen.

Navigate visually dynamically
within your content.
PRODUCTION
PROCESS
The cooperative work with lecturers as experts in their fields is important to us to
produce high-quality content. At the same time, the cooperation is used to enhance
their media-didactic competencies.
A video production therefore runs in four phases:
1. CONTACT & BOOKING
2. MEDIA-DIDACTIC CONSULTING
& INSTRUCTION
3. THE VIDEO SHOOT ITSELF
4. CUT, OTHER OPTIMIZATIONS & TRANSFER
LICENSING & USAGE
In principle/ in general/ by principle, all videos in the
eLab are displayed as Open Educational Resources
(OER). For this purpose they are licensed as Creative
Commons CC 3.0.
This practically means that they are freely to be
shared, processed and integrated into teaching
concepts may, if authors are stated. This means that
long-term resources are created.
