historically-informed brass
specialists perform Nineteenth-Century
chamber music on period instruments.
For this performance a veritable
cornucopia of old instruments, rescued
variously from bar-room walls, junk
yards, flea markets, car boot sales and
even the scrap merchant’s furnace,
receive a new lease of life in the setting
for which they were originally intended.
