cially his food. To make it quite clear, Dos Amigos is
not your authentic Mexican cuisine. The reason why it’s
called “California Mexican” is because it has a lot more
cheese than the authentic version. Listen up cheese lovers
- this is your place! And because Jeff and his staff
have so much fun, they also create new recipes. Ever
tried BBQ Pork Nachos? Or how about a Mexican Lasagne,
Pollo a la Creme, Taco Sliders, Chiapas Tacos, or a
9 inch big Grande Taco that you can split with a partner?
Lucky me - I got to taste all of these menu items, and
they are absolutely delicious. Who cares about being authentic,
this is pure California Mexican fun food.
The ambiance is another subject for Jeff who is
constantly beautifying the Cantina by installing new
wood flooring in the patio, new tiles on the wall, etc.
The restaurant is a piece of art, and Jeff is proud of that,
rightfully so. Now you might think that Dos Amigos is a
ritzy place with extravagant prices? It couldn’t be further
from the truth. Dos Amigos has always been reasonable
and affordable, even offering an El Cheapo Menu all day
Monday, and Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to
3pm with prices starting at $3.99.
On Cinco de Mayo (5.5.2019) Cantina Dos Amigos
extends its fun into the parking lot with a great all day
party starting with Breakfast Burritos, Bloody Marias,
later on a Taco Eating Contest with cash prizes and giveaways.
In the afternoon local favorite dance band Guilty
Pleasure will perform, and a photo booth for funny pictures
will be available all day so you can capture your
moments.
When Cantina Dos Amigos opened its doors in
Indialantic over two decades ago, it was the first Mexican
restaurant on this beach. Years later, after others have
moved in, they are still “one-of-a-kind.” For information
and a detailed menu visit their website at www.dosamigosindialantic.com.
They are located right on A1A in the
heart of Indialantic. Buen Apetito, Amigos!
