Christians, write it in a book. They won’t
read it.” This quote was proven obsolete
by Dr Sonia Martin, as 70 plus students in
Trinidad and Tobago, experienced
her engaging teaching style during
the 3-day training of the Centre for
Biblical Leadership’s module ‘Become
a Church with Impact’
The module explained the importance
of a biblically defined vision
and introduced leaders to the ten
characteristics of a healthy church
which can be influential in generally
making a difference.
The interactive gathering, included breakout
sessions, where groups were randomly
formed to discuss pertinent topics, with
one of the more significant ones being
The introduction to Take your Church’s
Pulse Tool (TYCP). This is a tool that that
can help diagnose an assembly’s health
by evaluating key areas of church life.
Held at the Christian Fellowship Ministries
– Church of God of Prophecy, Palmiste,
Trinidad, from September 20 – 22,
2018, the event was executed under the
auspices of National Overseer, Bishop Dr
Maurice A. Jones. He was supported by
the Leadership Development & Discipleship
Committee, under the
leading of Bp Dr. Anslim
Serrette along with a support
team.
