According to our data, the period 2012-2017 saw an extra<br />
9,500 jobs created in the Government industry cluster,<br />
making a rise of 17%. But there has also been strong growth<br />
in a number of other clusters. For example, Health and Care<br />
has added 6,900 jobs (33% growth). And in terms of absolute<br />
job growth, Professional Services has seen the biggest rise,<br />
with an increase of 14,500 jobs (26% growth), largely driven by<br />
growth in sectors such as Business and other management<br />
consultancy activities (42% growth); Activities of head offices<br />
(38%); and Public relations and communication activities (13%).<br />
