Do You Wash Your
Hair Too Much?
Let me be honest. Washing
your hair too much is one
of the main reasons for
bad hair days, (Next to just
not brushing your hair out
twice a day.) If your bad
hair days are more
frequent, this could easily
be one of the main reasons
for it! Over washing your
hair is a bad idea. You
might think, “Well washing
my hair makes it smooth,
so why is it bad?’ WRONG!
Your hair makes its own
oils, kinda like the hairs
way of keeping itself
healthy, and not dry. When
you excessively wash your
hair, it strips it of these oils,
making it tangly, and dry.
But on the other hand, if
you don't wash your hair
enough, those oils will
create a nasty buildup. So
next time you get in the
shower, try to remember
the last time you washed it
so you can prevent this
bad hair day
“Its hard to
have a bad hair
day when your
famous” -
Beat the Heat
Remember that one time you
straightened, or curled your hair for
fun? Or remember the time your
bestfriend curled your hair? Well in
that moment you might’ve thought
that nothing was gonna happen to
your hair, right? Well, you were wrong!
You might think its cool to change up
your curly hair by straightening it, or
vice versa, but doing it to much can
cause hair to be heat damaged, and
dry. Leaf the magazine states “In
general, too much heat can lead to
brittle, damaged hair and split ends.
The most common source of
excessive heat exposure is extended
use of heat-based styling tools such
as curling irons or hair dryers”. So my
final advice is if your gonna use any
heat on your hair, use high quality
products, and heat resistant hair
spray, that you can find at your local
drug store, or beauty store.
