Fuchsia arborescens
Commonly known as the Mexican Blueberry, this fuchsia is both
ornamental and edible. It produces large clusters of small pink / lavender
flowers throughout the summer, followed by dark purple / blue fruits in
the autumn. The berries of Blutini are sweet and resemble blueberries in
appearance. The flowers are also edible and used in salads or garnishes.
This half-hardy evergreen shrub makes great container displays and will
overwinter well in southern climates.
