panels are made from the proper gauge steel and include all correct-as-original clips, tabs, flanges, bends and seams. Each time a prototype
body panel comes off of new tooling, we test fit it on a truck and often on multiple trucks. The
marked-up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is
produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times, but once the part is finally approved,
you can be assured of a quality part.

X-Parts parts are third party products offered by AMD as a viable substitute for a product that we do not yet
manufacture on our own tools. While not the same superior quality as new AMD parts, these body panels are
considered to be a viable solution on most vehicles. Some panels may require additional body work during the
installation process but, all panels have proven to be workable in the restoration world.

of selling mass produced vehicles and parts, not show cars. The tolerances and build quality of older model vehicles
and their original parts should not be compared to modern cars. Often from the manufacturer, body panels and sheet
