Cookie Cart Growing for Good: A Campaign for Sustainability
From the humble beginnings of Sister Jean’s home to the Emerson storefront to our current home on West Broadway Avenue, evolution has always been a part of our culture. 2018 marked the 30th year of Cookie Cart, and we celebrated by launching our second bakery on Saint Paul’s East Side. In total, we will employ 300 teens between both bakeries, a 275% increase in youth employment over the last 5 years. Together, we are positioning Cookie Cart as a sustainable contributor to youth development in our communities. By growing our business model to support increased cookie sales, we will generate increased employment for our community’s future leaders. We invite you to invest in our sustainability as we continue to grow for good.
