BUILDING A BETTER LIFE ANF with the support of Food For The Poor has been involved in housing programs for highly impoverished families in Nicaragua since Hurricane Mitch in 1998. ANF’s housing programs provide rural communities with dignified living conditions and community infrastructure including clinics, schools, solar lighting and community centers. Families are also provided with tools and training to improve their livelihoods. HIGHLIGHTS 614 5 SOLAR PANELS COMMUNITY installed in rural CENTERS households built HOUSING 820 NEW HOUSES built, benefiting more than 5,000 people 182 ECO-STOVES installed
