COROLLARY
Coimbatore Metropolis & Coimbatore South were twins chartered on the same day in 1985. 27
years later, Coimbatore Ikons & Coimbatore Downtown was chartered on the same day in 2012.
5 Clubs were formed in the year 2007-08 and that year holds the record of the largest number of
clubs in a Rotary year.
22 years between Coimbatore and Coimbatore West is the longest term between two clubs while
5 days is the shortest term between clubs, Coimbatore Town and Coimbatore Vadavalli.
A club named Rotary Club of Coimbatore Titans was started on 14 May 2009 and was later
terminated on June 26 2012.
