is empowering the leaders of tomorrow. Girl
Scouts recently introduced forty-two new
badges in STEM fields like cybersecurity,
robotics, programming, and citizen science,
as well as outdoor adventures such as
backpacking, snowshoeing, cross-country
skiing, and rock climbing. Learn more about

Our staff is busy preparing for our annual Kids
Farm Day & Family Safety Fair! Save the date and
join us at the Patrick Ranch Museum in Durham
this October 19, 2019, as we celebrate children,
farms, gardening and wholesome food! There will
be art projects for little hands and educational
booths for all ages. We love meeting our readers!
Summer is winding down. School is back in session.
Soon autumn will be on our doorsteps, and
we will be welcoming the holiday season into
our homes.
