Functional Skills<br />
Are you 19 or over? Are your English, Maths<br />
or ICT skills a little rusty?<br />
Take the opportunity to improve your skills<br />
and achieve a recognised Entry Level, Level<br />
1 or Level 2 qualification (equivalent to a<br />
GCSE) and learn in a supportive, friendly,<br />
small class sized environment. The courses<br />
are free* and start throughout the academic<br />
year.<br />
Courses run throughout the week across<br />
a variety of venues. We run classes during<br />
mornings, afternoons and evenings.<br />
*The courses are free for people aged 19 or<br />
older, who are UK or EU citizens and who<br />
have lived continuously in UK or EU for the<br />
past three years.<br />

The organisation was set up in the summer of 1999<br />
and was originally based at the Town Hall before<br />
expanding and moving to new locations across<br />
<strong>Darlington</strong> at The Coleridge Centre, L&S Tubwell<br />
Row and Lingfield Way.
