Plan Your Future We know that saving money is not easy, but we are happy to help you set everything up. Let us know what your goals are, and we’ll help you choose from a range of our savings products. Here’s a sample of what we can offer: Primary Savings Account - This is the very first account we open when you join our credit union. The minimum initial deposit is $5. There is no monthly service charge associated with this account, and you can transfer money between this and your other accounts at will, and at no cost! And, if you wish to open a separate savings account to use for another purpose, let us know! Money Management - This savings account offers higher dividend rates if your balance stays above a certain threshold, and you can make up to six electronic withdrawals per month! Christmas Club - The Christmas Club Account is another savings account that has dividends paid monthly, based on a daily balance. With just a minimum balance of $5.00, you can be on the road to a more relaxed Christmas holiday for you and your family. To make it easier for you, you can have funds automatically deposited into your Christmas Account through Payroll Allocation. Then, every November, the funds will be automatically transferred to your Primary Savings Account. Term Share Certificates and IRA Certificates - If you have excess funds sitting in your checking or savings account, you might consider opening one of our high-yielding term share certificates. The majority of these certificates have a minimum balance requirement of only $1,000, and the longer you keep your money in, the higher your return will be. IRA Advantage We offer both traditional and Roth IRAs. If you are not sure which product would suit your needs, give us a call, and we’ll discuss your options! Investment Services You can also take advantage of the MEMBERS Financial Services Program, and set up an appointment with the financial advisor. The MEMBERS Financial Services Program is focused specifically on serving HTFFFCU members, to help you plan and invest to meet your desired financial goals. When you are making these types of important decisions about your future, as well as that of your family, you want sound, objective advice from someone who knows you well and has a successful track record of helping individuals and business owners plan, understand, and reach their financial ambitions. Working with your other valued advisors, such as your attorney and accountant, he seeks to bring investments, insurance, retirement, estate, and tax planning into one efficient plan, designed to be risk-appropriate, and minimize gaps that can leave you under-prepared and under-protected. Everyone Is Welcome In Our HTFFFCU Family Puppy Pak Savings Club Our credit union strives to be the place where everyone feels welcome. We offer unique products and services even for our youngest members from the day they join until the age of 12. When a child joins our Puppy Pak Savings Club, they also join an adventure of financial education. With Paw Print Newsletters dedicated just for kids, annual activities, and competitions, children are fully immersed into valuable money-saving lessons, and they are better prepared for the future. Teen Savings Club At our credit union, we cater to older kids as well. Upon turning 13*, each Puppy Pak member automatically enrolls into our Teen Savings Club where he or she continues their financial education on a more advanced level. Some benefits include: • Opportunity to open an associated Teen Checking Account with a VISA debit card upon turning 14. (Parent’s/Guardian’s consent required) • Online Banking/Mobile Banking Access upon turning 16 • Opportunity to win prizes throughout the year – competitions are announced in each Teen eNewsletter • Annual Financial Workshop in April Welcome to the Family * Teenagers don’t have to be former Puppy Pak members to join the Teen Savings Club. Any person aged 13-17 is welcome to the club! 258 Club At HTFFFCU, we care about members of all ages. Upon turning 55, our members are automatically enrolled into the 258 Club with its own set of free services, discounts, and benefits, including an annual group activity. It pays off to get older when you are our member!
