SANTA CATALINA, VERAGUAS, PANAMA<br />
Santa Catalina is our home base of operations.<br />
The town is located on the Chiriquí Gulf in the state of<br />
Veraguas, <strong>Panama</strong>. It is a fishing village which existed<br />
in quiet seclusion until discovered by adventurous<br />
surfers in the 1970s. Santa Catalina is about an hour<br />
and a half drive South Southwest from Santiago. If you<br />
are driving from <strong>Panama</strong> City to Santa Catalina, plan on<br />
a 5 to 6 hour trip. We can arrange comfortable airport<br />
transfers for you upon request. We suggest you arrive<br />
the day before your trip to organize gear and have time<br />
to board the ship during daylight hours. There is much to<br />
see around Santa Catalina including an array of wildlife,<br />
beaches, world-class surfing and inshore diving.
