New order certification: Tools that can be certified are
available as a “Zert version, whereby these tests are carried
out upon completion of the production process.
Re-certification: Tools that are already in use can be
sent to our certification centre, where they will be tested
according to the relevant standards or to standards
according to the customer’s wishes. This service allows the
customers to confirm that older tools are still performing.
Customer-specific confirmation: Weidmüller tools are
tested to the highest standards and with as many ferrule/
wire combinations as possible, however it is not possible
to test every combination. Therefore, Weidmüller offers
customers an additional service whereby they can crimp
their ferrules or contacts to their specific wires and send
the samples to our certification centre for testing. We will
test according to the relevant standards or the customer’s
wishes. An additional benefit of this service is that the tool
itself stays at the customer, therefore they can continue
processing wires.
