Achieve slip resistant flooring<br />
N&C are one of the largest UK distributors of ceramic,<br />
porcelain and natural stone wall and floor tiles in the<br />
UK. We are unique in offering a large collection of slip<br />
resistant floor tiles that meet a Pendulum Test Value<br />
of 36+ and deemed suitable for a wet floor and with<br />
bare foot slip resistance by the requirements set out<br />
by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) for the UK<br />
market.<br />
The tests carried out on our slip resistant tiles use a<br />
specialist rubber to simulate the slip resistance<br />
characteristics of a barefoot pedestrian, when assessing<br />
floor surfaces for use in shower areas, changing rooms<br />
and swimming pools.<br />

Progress is a comprehensive porcelain range of wall and floor tiles, with<br />
complementing mosaics made up by 6 cool and warm on-trend colours.<br />
Maximise the sense of space in a wet room with this oversized porcelain tile<br />
to create visually unified and sophisticated interiors.<br />
It is important to consider that there are currently only two<br />
different types of rubber defined within BS 7976-1: 2002,<br />
and the UKSRG Guidelines, for use in the measurement<br />
of the floor surface slipperiness of pedestrian surfaces<br />
with the pendulum. Slider 96, also known as Four-S<br />
(Standard, Simulated Shoe Sole) rubber, is a material<br />
developed to be representative of shoe soling material of<br />
moderate slip resistance. Slider 55, also known as TRL<br />
or TRRL rubber, is a softer rubber compound used to<br />
simulate barefoot slip resistance.<br />
