Artwork Book

My name is Marcus Smyth from Glasgow, Scotland.
I only paint abstract art, never a flower, landscape or
still life, nothing that is representative of this world. I do
have a deep appreciation of other styles of art however I
have no desire to follow any other form of art other than
modern abstract only in the past under duress to fulfil an
art subject did I deviate, I avoid painting those everyday
things.
My desire is to give the viewer an escape from reality, the
landscape of everyday life, everyday things or simply the
norm.
Professionally trained in design working for over 25
years in creative media as a art director, indie filmmaker,
photographer and over 30 years as a modern artist.
