The 4th July 2020 will see Bridlington hold its first ever
Pride event, we are 100% volunteer run and a
completely non-profit organisation.
Our aim is to create a pride event to not only celebrate
the LGBTQ+ community within Bridlington and the
surrounding area but also to celebrate Bridlington itself
getting the town to work together to create a weekend
long event showcasing the Best of Bridlington, and we
want you to be a part of it!
Historically Bridlington has been seen as a homophobic
and non inclusive destination, with the press focusing on
incidents such as the men of Bridlington defacing a Pride
flag in 2018. Lets prove them wrong and come together
as allies, and allow the press to show that the town
stands together and is an inclusive destination welcome
to all.
We hope to not only create a single event to be held
once a year, but to create a legacy within the town and
show those people who may feel isolated within the
Bridlington community that they are not alone and that
we stand together as a town. Help us showcase the Best
of Bridlington!
