Cheer takes 14th at IHSA State
The Comet cheerleading team took 14th at IHSA
State on Fri., Feb. 7, narrowly missing another trip to

The girls performed well and came away proud of
their performance.
The cheerleaders also had a celebration on February
11 at halftime of the boys basketball game, when
the program honored Coach Kacie Jones for her 10
years of service to the program. Many former cheerleaders
came out to show their support for Jones.
Jones will be stepping down as coach after this
