Dan Cruickshank
Art Historian & BBC Presenter
Dan Cruickshank is an architectural
historian and television presenter. He is
an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Institute
of British Architects, has served as a
member of the Executive Committee
of the Georgian Group, and on the
Architectural Panel of the National Trust.

His recent work includes the BBC
television programmes At Home with the
British (2016), on the Road to Palmyra
(2019) and the books A History of
Architecture in 100 Buildings (2015),
Spitalfields (2016), Cruickshank’s London
(2019) and Built in Chelsea (2020).
The Start art exhibition has been organised to help raise funds for Henshaws Arts & Crafts
Centre Capital Appeal. The funds raised will go towards helping our art makers discover
their talents, put them into practice and go beyond expectations. The Arts & Crafts Centre
is a community hub where creativity, friendship and opportunities come to life.
This event will help to ensure it continues to thrive.

All items in this exhibition are available for sale on receipt of the catalogue. Sold items may
be taken away on the evening of 12th March after the event.
Alternatively, they can be collected from Rudding Park on the morning of Friday 13th
March by arrangement with Sarah Martin on 07885 557209.
Items that are available via auction will be auctioned at the event on 12th March, bids will
be taken prior to the event and used as a reserve price.
