Maah Daah Hey Trail

Badlands

Experience the 142-mile, non-motorized trail open

for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, one mile at a

time, or the entire trail with primitive campsites for

Schnell Recreation Area

Richardton, ND

Located just east of Dickinson, half an hour, the 2,000

acres of grasslands and wooded draws brings visitors

to camp, educate, and view wildlife and prairie

flowers and grasses. Camping is available.

Heart River Golf Course

Dickinson, ND

A challenging 18-hole, par 72 layout is nestled along

the scenic Heart River. Combing a rolling top nine, with

a wooded bottom nine, brings plenty of opportunity to

test your skills.

Patterson Lake Recreation Area

Dickinson, ND

Trails and family recreation line the lake with fishing

and boating opportunities. Camp sites include full

service, and primitive. Take a walk on the trails

surrounding the lake, relax along the beach.

Crooked Crane Trail

Dickinson, ND

The trail is 1.8-mile double loop, on a concrete 10 ft.

wide path with exercise and play equipment for all

ages. Much of the trail winds next to Patterson Lake,

through trees, and open areas.

West River Community Center

Ice Center/ Outdoor Water Park

The center includes indoor water recreation, walking
