PLANNING, & URBAN DESIGN FIRM

I worked at WRT full time during the summer
of 2019 and part time during the fall semester
of my 5th year of architecture school. Most of
my time with the firm consisted of advancing
drawings in a construction document set for
a 6-story mixed-use residential building. This
experience expanded my knowledge of the
programmatic demands of a residential project.
This was also my first professional experience
working through the details and intricacies
of the building construction process. This
construction knowledge was paired with having
the opportunity to visit the sites of other projects
within the firm that were nearing completion. I
interacted with contractors, developed punchlists,
and was able to see drawings and details come
to life. My final task at WRT consisted of working
with a team on the schematic planning and
unit layouts of the second phase of a residential
project that had been on-going at the firm.
