Lisa Samiotis joined Citizens Advice North Oxfordshire and SouthNorthamptonshire’s volunteers and staff to celebrate the official opening of Towcester Digital Hub, at TheForum, on Monday 20 th January.Towcester Digital Hub is a new, face-to-face service that offers clients access to information and guidanceon digital platforms. The service is provided by trained, volunteer Digital Advice Coaches.We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-2pm and clients can drop in at any time, no appointmentneeded.Towcester Digital Hub provides help and support to accessinformation and to navigate the digital world. This can includecompleting online forms, finding information online and also“how-to” advice. This is all delivered from our friendly and patientvolunteer team.Becoming a volunteerVolunteers are crucial to any Citizens Advice Service and we arewelcoming new volunteers all the time. To become a DigitalAdvice Coach all volunteers need to have basic digital and ITskills. Citizens Advice will provide you with further training whichtakes approximately 3 days and can be done flexibly.
