Balinese. Several archaeological remains found
here prove the temple to be of megalithic origin,
dating back to around the 10th century
• Potato Head / Finns Beach Club (if you fancy
a drink and a cheeky swim)
Location: Seminyak / Canggu
Background Information: Beach Clubs are
known to have stunning pools and private views
of the beach. It’s an escape from the crowded
beaches and simply a place to wind down while
relaxing on a sun bed with a drink in your hand.
The two beach clubs mentioned above are the
most popular ones in Bali and are known for
their good music, ambience and their pool bars.
• Seminyak
Background Information: Bali’s most stylish
and upscale beach resort area. It’s home to
among the island’s most luxurious resorts. It also
hosts a number of fine restaurants and boutiques.
Fashion stores line Seminyak’s streets. You can
also find some of Bali’s top dining spots where
international chefs cook up world-class cuisine.
• La Favella or Motel Mexicana (for some light
partying)
Location: Seminyak
Background Information: These are popular
clubs in Seminyak and are known for their
bumping music and scrumptious food (during
the day). It is a must go for youngsters who want
to enjoy the upscale Bali nightlife.
• Nusa Dua Beach (where all the five star
beach resorts are located so the beaches are
beautifully maintained)
