Columbia, in New Westminster.
Vancouver and the surrounding
area is Canada's 3rd largest city,
after Toronto and Montreal. The
Greater Vancouver area is home
to 2.3 million people across an
area of 2800km squared.

to get outside and be active.
Because the temperature is mild
year-round, you can participate
in various outdoor activities like
hiking, cycling, skiing and
snowboarding, kayaking or
mountain biking. The Greater
Vancouver area has a variety of
cultural sites and activities,
including galleries, museums,
theatres, shopping and worldclass
food.

Douglas College is a public college founded in 1970 by the province of British
Columbia, Canada. The college is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2020. As a
government-funded, comprehensive college, Douglas College offers a wide
range of academic choices to our students including four-year Bachelor Degree
programs, two-year Associate of Arts and Science Degrees, two-year Diploma
programs as well as many Post Degree Diploma and Post Baccalaureate
programs.

Learn about Canadian hospitality, improve your English, and explore a new
country all in one program. You will be placed in a home-stay with a Canadian
family and will become a part of the Douglas College community. The hospitality
immersion program also includes:
