5 Job Types
Please read the following carefully.
5.1 “New Job” Offer
On the home screen of your tablet, you will see your zone queue
position (Example: “3 of 5”). This indicates that you are the 3 rd driver in
a queue of 5 drivers in the zone. As drivers ahead of you in the queue
get offered jobs, you will move up the queue. When you reach first
place in the zone (Example: “1 of 3”) you will be offered the next job in
this zone queue. When the system offers you a zone queue job, the
screen will be a blue color and will display “New Job”. Tap anywhere on
screen to accept the job. Time penalties may apply if you miss or decline
a “New Job”. You have 30 seconds to accept the trip.
5.2 “New Bid” Offer
From time to time you may be offered a bid job, if you are in a
neighboring zone where the job pickup address is, or if you are bidding
on a job from the bidding screen. If you choose not to accept a bid job,
you will maintain your position in your current zone. You have 30
seconds to accept the trip.
5.3 “Designated Job” Offer
Jobs may be designated to you manually by a dispatcher if the
automated system cannot find a driver to assign it to. When you receive
a designated job, the screen will be green in color, unless they are in
your current zone, they will then be blue.
5.3.1 Designated pre-bookings
If a job has been designated to you for a future date/time, you will
receive a message to notify you of such. To review any jobs designated
to you, tap the “Bookings” button on the home screen and then tap the
“My Jobs” button.
