This new version of the onlinedatabase has been unveiled earlier thanplanned so that people can enjoy thetreasures from one of the world’s greatcollections from the comfort of their ownhome. THE HIDDEN CITY PHOTO SERIESA new photography commission goesbehind-the-scenes at institutions acrossthe City of London to reveal its untoldstories, hidden gems, and undiscoveredcreative champions. Culture Mile, theCity of London’s cultural districtstretching from Farringdon to Moorgate,commissioned photographer, EmileHolba, to explore what creativity means,not only within cultural organisations,but across the wide range of sectors thatmake up the Square Mile.Delving into hidden corners, secretgardens, and subterranean spaces,Holba has created a series of triptychsfrom 18 organisations across CultureMile. The service is currentlyworking closely with partners at theLondon Ambulance Service and BartsHealth NHS Trust to offer assistance withthe Covid 19 response, includingassisting with patient transfers to theNightingale Hospital.Andy Briggs, CEO, Phoenix Groupcomments, ‘It is vital we recognise thelife-saving efforts of the London’s AirAmbulance Charity and theunprecedented demands for their serviceat this time.
