Annual Review "Russian Technology Parks - 2019" was prepared by the authors of the Association for the Development of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia. It is dedicated to the specific features of technology parks development in Russia and abroad as well as benchmarking Russian technology parks' operation efficiency. Technology park Polyus was created with the aim of increasing the
organization of new industries, the interaction of enterprises in the
field of laser and optical technologies; placement and assistance in the
development of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises specializing
in the development of technological innovations. Residents of the Polyus
specialize in the following areas: laser rangefinders, locators, target
indicators, gyroscopes; sensors of ground-based measurement systems

and create various infrastructure facilities to support the activities of the
technology park. In addition to the production of various laser and optical
products, the Polyus technology park plans to carry out specialized training.

Technology park Electropolis was created in order to: develop support for
innovative SMEs; effective interaction of all subjects of innovation in the region;
promoting the development of new and existing hi-tech companies. Also, the
technology park contributes to the creation of a favorable innovation environment in
the region and the development of engineering, transport and social infrastructure.
The technology park plans to develop, manufacture and introduce hi-tech products
and technologies. Electropolis is the link between education, science, business and
government in order to commercialize and develop the scientific and technical
potential of the region.
