Connecting lives
Through the use of technology,
people living with a disability can
be connected to local and global
communities, create their own
opportunities, and self-manage
aspects of their lives.
Staying connected has never been
easier, however it comes at a cost,
which can be prohibitive for some.
Some organisations have recognised
the importance of having access to
technology for those who cannot
afford a computer. These companies
offer refurbished computers and
laptops at reduced costs for people
with concession cards, or who
meet other selection criteria.
