KAREN LESSARD, Secretary:<br />
Karen has been a paralegal for over 22 years, and has been with Kean Miller s<strong>in</strong>ce<br />
1999. She is the Intellectual Property <strong>Paralegal</strong>, but also supports the environmental<br />
group, and assists with corporate, commercial litigation, and bankruptcy. She has been<br />
a Notary Public s<strong>in</strong>ce 1991. She has been a member of the BRPA s<strong>in</strong>ce 2000, and has<br />
previously served as a Treasurer. She has enjoyed be<strong>in</strong>g a part of the <strong>Baton</strong> <strong>Rouge</strong><br />
<strong>Paralegal</strong> Association and wants to be <strong>in</strong>strumental <strong>in</strong> work<strong>in</strong>g towards its cont<strong>in</strong>ued<br />
growth and presence <strong>in</strong> the community.<br />
BONNIE F. BOUDREAUX, Parliamentarian:<br />
Bonnie has been a vot<strong>in</strong>g member of the <strong>Baton</strong> <strong>Rouge</strong> <strong>Paralegal</strong> Association s<strong>in</strong>ce 2006, and ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong>ed a<br />
student membership from 2002 - 2004. She began work<strong>in</strong>g for Jones Walker Law Firm <strong>in</strong> 2006 as a litigation<br />
paralegal, work<strong>in</strong>g primarily <strong>in</strong> the areas of complex commercial defense and corporate transactions. In March<br />
of 2009, she transitioned <strong>in</strong>to Jones Walker's I.T. department as Practice Support Specialist, where her focus<br />
shifted to bridg<strong>in</strong>g the gap between the legal and technology fields. Prior to jo<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g Jones Walker, she worked<br />
as a compliance specialist <strong>in</strong> the Commercial Division of the Louisiana Secretary of State for five years. She<br />
is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Sciences <strong>in</strong> Psychology and a m<strong>in</strong>or<br />
<strong>in</strong> Sociology. She also earned a certificate of <strong>Paralegal</strong> Studies from LSU <strong>in</strong> 2004.She and her husband,<br />
Jason Boudreaux, are both natives of <strong>Baton</strong> <strong>Rouge</strong>.<br />
