Día de Muertos

Nov. 1-2 (Virtual Event and Window Displays at GPAC)

Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a traditional Mexican holiday that celebrates deceased

family members through music, storytelling, food, and ofrendas (altars). Join us for a hybrid

event including both virtual and outdoor, in-person options that include exploration of ofrendas,

papel picado window art installations, take-home art-making kits, and virtual performances of

dancing, singing, and storytelling by Grupo Folclórico Macehuani. Plus, share a photo, drawing, or

stories about your deceased loved ones by adding to our virtual community memorial wall. More

details will be announced on our website leading up to the event: gpacarts.org

Virtual Autumn Art Fair

Our annual art fair is moving online this year! GPAC will feature samples of handcrafted and

original artworks, as well as information about local artists, so patrons can explore and purchase

handmade art and goods. Over twenty local artists from Indianapolis and surrounding areas will

be selling their one of a kind and affordable items ranging from $0.50 to $500. Visit online and

browse handmade holiday gifts for purchase! You are sure to find something you love.
