Senior Boarding

Ages 12 - 16

Senior boarders receive the same high level of individual care and attention as the junior boarders,

however they are expected to learn to become more independent as they advance through each year

group. Our most senior boarders are expected to act as role models and mentors to the youngest boarders.

Each year a male and female pupil are nominated to the position of Head Boarder following a vote.

It is their role to represent the other boarders and to raise important boarding community issues with the

House Parents on a weekly basis.

Senior Boarders are taught a number of useful skills such as how to do their laundry and change their

bedding. They also learn some basic cookery skills which will prove useful as they continue to advance

through the education system and live independently at university.

At Moyles Court we want our Senior Boarders to learn the important life skills and morals that they would

learn at home from their parents and wider family.
