Exhibitor WelcomeDRESSAGE AT ROSE MOUNT FARMWelcome from VADA-Fredericksburg,Thank you for attending our annual Dressage Show. This year is particularly special to us aswe celebrate the life of our late member Debra Carter. Debra was an amazing woman, with an infectiousspirit! Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer did not stop her from working her butt off toset up for this horse show, volunteer during the show, and compete herself. Yes, all in the sameweekend! Debra lost her battle with MBC in August and we miss her dearly, but she would want usto have a fabulous horse show and remember her in gregarious fashion. Feel free to show off yourpink in Debra’s memory and thank our volunteers for her!This year is also going to be different for us, as we observe the new COVID-19 protocols.Please abide by the guidelines set forth from the State of VA, USEF, and USDF. We are all adjustingto the new normal and we would like to continue being allowed to horse show. Due to COVID-19,we will not have our usual vendor fair under the tent, but we will have vendors scattered aroundthe show grounds for your shopping fix. We will still have coffee and treats (all individuallywrapped) in our hospitality stall.If you’ve shown with us before, you know the parking and traffic flow situation can be tricky.Please follow direction and give our parking volunteers a break. Again, we ask anyone with a stabledhorse (whether that be day or overnight) to park their trailers up on the hill on the far side ofthe driveway (away from the arenas). We ask you to be expeditious while unloading in the barn areaand not block thru traffic. On Friday you will be allowed to drive between the competition arenasto cross Rosemount’s main driveway into the parking field, but Saturday and Sunday during theshow, you will not. This means you will have to leave the show grounds via route 208 and re-enterat the entrance on top of the hill, then make a left into the parking area. This will allow our dailyhaul-ins and spectators to park closest to the competition area and maintain an organized flow oftraffic in and out. Rather than having to move around haphazardly parked and unhooked trailers.Besides human parking assistance, there will be signs posted on the grounds, please follow them.Good Luck Competitors!7
