With his romance for theastral period, passion fortheater and the invigoratingfreedom that comes with itbeing ever so present in hisaccomplishments, seeing the timeline of allthat Pierre Cardin created and touched andturned to gold was beautifully done in thefilm. We can see all he has accomplished infashion, how his vision has led fashion to whereit is now, and how much of his love and adoredItalian warmth is seen in his work. In fact, youwill see that “fashion designer” barely definesthe globalizing style ambassador that is PierreCardin, with his light-years ahead vision toembrace the underrated potential of nationsand people with so much beauty to give to theworld.The film shows us how fearless of theunknown Pierre is and how he opened doorsto once closed-off countries and encouragedthem to share their incredible talents to the restof the world, thus leading to thousands uponthousands of business opportunities that havehelped these nations grow. Pierre Cardin hasalways had a knack for discovering beauty inthings that later grow to be precious to so many.He knows that fashion and creativity is theuniversal language with an infalliblepotential to unite and join forces that bloominto something much more grandiose. You’ll see that heaccomplished lots of “firsts”, one of thembeing that he was the first designer to create amenswear fashion show.
