COLOURS OF THE ALPHABET

IMPACT REPORT

OUTPUTS

We designed a unique translation,

subtitling and training impact

project, that resulted in:

The training of 27 local

indigenous African

language translators in

professional translation and

subtitling skills, as well as a

further 27 proof readers.

The translation of the film

into the 27 indigenous

languages, spoken by over

400 million people across

the 49 countries, through

these newly trained film

translators.

The production of an

open source training

material for translation

and subtitling skills,

including online lectures

and workshop material,

for the future training and
